Backpacking to the Gorge

Well another successful trip the the Red River Gorge has been completed this past weekend. Myself and two buddies of mine went to the Gorge Friday - Sunday for a nice two night trip. Unfortunately we had rain start Friday night and stay with us late into Saturday night as well. The hike was beautiful though and it marks my first hike of the fall season with hopefully many more to come.

One cool aspect of this trip was we finally figured out how to get on top of Gray's Arch which is something I have wanted to do for some time but could never find the way up. Some of these pics below are from the top of the Arch.

This blog will serve as my outlet to the world in sharing the best of my extensive travel and adventure experiences. My goal is to bring the reader into the adventure using a blend of detailed writing and quality photos to help bring the experience to you wherever you may be.

Fact is I'm not a writer just a guy who spends way to much time on computers to make his living. I love travel and experiencing new things so this blog is one of those new things to see where it might take me in life. If anything I find it rewarding to have these wonderful memories documented for my own enjoyment down the road.

Sometimes we are so passionate about where we are going we forget to remember the amazing places we have been. These following posts are for those who have shared the experiences of a lifetime with me and will at least provide some insight and knowledge to many places known and unknown to you all.
